UK Workwear Size Guide for PPE and Clothing

This guide helps you find the correct size for workwear, PPE, and hi-vis clothing in the UK, ensuring both comfort and compliance.

Workwear Size Guide

Getting the right fit matters — especially for hi-vis and PPE garments where fit affects both comfort and compliance. Use this guide to find the correct size across our full range. Correct sizing is essential for safety, performance, and professional appearance across construction, trade, and healthcare environments.

How to Measure

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal. For workwear, we recommend going up a size if you’re between measurements or planning to wear layers underneath.

Waist: Measure around your natural waist, roughly 1 inch above your navel, keeping the tape comfortably snug.

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the ankle.

Hi-Vis Classes explained:

Class 1 — minimum visibility, light traffic environments
Class 2 — roadside workers, warehouse environments
Class 3 — highest visibility, fast-moving traffic, required on UK construction sites and roadworks.
